About this tool

Extracting is also the simplest way to delete pages: select every page except the ones you want to remove. And it can reorder a document: type all pages in a new order, such as 2, 1, 3-end.

To create several files at once instead of one, use Split PDF.

Known limitations

  • Pages are copied in the order you type them, so “3, 1” puts page 3 first. Repeating a page copies it twice.
  • Bookmarks and document-level form data are not copied.
  • Thumbnails are drawn on your device and may take a moment for long documents. You can type page numbers without waiting for them.

Frequently asked questions

How do I remove a page from a PDF?

Type every page except the ones you want to remove. For a 10-page file without page 4, type 1-3, 5-10.

Does it keep text selectable?

Yes. Pages are copied, not turned into images, so text, links and image quality stay the same.

Are the thumbnails uploaded?

No. They are drawn by PDF.js inside your browser and discarded when you leave the page.
