The short version
- The tools run in your browser. Text, images and data you enter are processed on your device and are not sent to us.
- There are no user accounts and no analytics on this site.
- If you send feedback or a rating, we store what you write in that form. It is never sold or shared for advertising.
- Our hosting provider processes technical data, such as your IP address, to deliver pages and protect the service.
- The site shows ads from Google AdSense. Where the law requires it, ads are only personalized with your consent.
Data processed when you visit
Server logs
When your browser requests a page, our hosting provider, [hosting provider, e.g. Vercel Inc. – to be completed], receives technical information such as your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser’s user agent. This is necessary to deliver the website and to detect abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interests in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Content you enter into tools
Text, images, JSON and other content you put into a tool is processed by JavaScript in your browser. It is not transmitted to our servers or to third parties, and it is discarded when you close or reload the page.
Feedback and ratings
When you use the Feedback form or rate the site, we store the content you submit: the message or comment, the star rating, the name you choose to show, the optional email address you give for a reply, the page you were on and the time. To limit spam, we also keep a one-way hash of your IP address for at most 24 hours. Feedback is only read by the site owner. Ratings count towards the public average; written review comments are published, with the name you entered, after a check for spam and personal data. Legal basis: your consent by submitting the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in preventing abuse (Art. 6(1)(f)). This data is stored with our database provider, Upstash, Inc., which processes it on our behalf. You can ask us to delete your feedback or review at any time using the contact details above.
Preferences stored on your device
If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage under the key toolora-theme. It never leaves your device. See the Cookie Policy.
Advertising
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and to measure ad performance. Learn more in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, a consent message from a Google-certified consent management platform asks for your choice before personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time with the “Privacy and cookie choices” link in the footer. Elsewhere, you can manage ad personalization in Google’s My Ad Center.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data about you, to object to or restrict its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can also complain to your data-protection authority. Because we do not run accounts or store tool content, we usually hold no personal data that can be linked to you beyond short-lived server logs.
Children
The site is not directed at children under the age at which they can consent to data processing in their country.
