Bio Generator
Fill in a few facts about yourself and get several short bio drafts to edit. This is a template-based generator, not AI: it rearranges what you write into proven structures and checks each draft against the platform's character limit.

How to use the Bio Generator
- Fill in at least a role or a topic. The more fields you complete, the more drafts you get.
- Choose a tone and the platform whose character limit you need.
- Copy a draft and edit it in your own words. Drafts over the limit are flagged.
Example
Role: Illustrator Topic: botanical art Audience: plant lovers Offer: make prints of rare plants Call to action: Shop prints below Tone: Professional
Illustrator focused on botanical art. Shop prints below I help plant lovers make prints of rare plants. Shop prints below
The offer is written so it reads naturally after “I help [audience]”.
About this tool
A useful bio answers three questions within a couple of seconds: who you are, what someone gets from following you, and what to do next. The templates combine your role, topic, audience and offer in different orders so you can see which emphasis fits you best. The call to action goes on its own line, where it is easiest to spot.
Character counts include line breaks and treat each emoji as one character. Some platforms count emoji differently, so leave a small margin.
Known limitations
- Drafts are only as good as the details you enter; the templates do not add claims or facts.
- Character limits were checked in October 2026. Platforms change them, so confirm in the app if a draft is close to the limit.
- Grammar depends on how you phrase each field. Read every draft before using it.
Frequently asked questions
How long can an Instagram bio be?
Instagram allowed 150 characters when we checked in October 2026. TikTok allowed 80, X 160 and Threads 150. Limits change, so treat the numbers in the tool as a guide.
Why isn't this called an AI bio generator?
Because it does not use an AI model. It fills fixed templates with your words. You get predictable results without sending your details to a third-party service.
Should I include emoji?
One or two can help scanning, but avoid replacing words with emoji, because screen readers read out their names. Add them after choosing a draft so you can see the final length.
